Growing Up Gay
Recent figures show that more than 40% of LGBT+ people will experience a significant mental health problem, compared to around 25% of the wider population, and are more than twice as likely to have attempted suicide. In this eye-opening and timely film, young pop culture icon Olly Alexander (lead singer of Years & Years) explores why the gay community is more vulnerable to mental health issues, as he opens up about his own long-term battles with depression. Olly joins young people on their journeys, battling issues that parallel his own - from homophobic bullying to eating and anxiety disorders. Each encounter illustrates the positive actions being taken to address these problems, and how this enables people to take strength from each other.

The Science Of Success
Smith & Nasht
1 x 60' HD
We used to think that success took talent, hard work and luck. Now scientists have discovered an extraordinary thing: success depends a lot less on ourselves, rather is a collective response to our performance. All those self-help books that tell you what to do are wrong because you have little to do with your own success. THE SCIENCE OF SUCCESS reveals an exciting, new understanding of how society works, and offers insights into how to achieve success. These discoveries have profound implications for society as well — the outcome of elections, the products we buy, the choices we make — they are all determined by hidden principles. In the age of Big Data, where we can track achievements like a GPS tracks our movements, scientists have identified the drivers of success. And even more astoundingly, they are able to predict it.

For some, historical figures are great heroes and nation builders. But for a growing legion of others, they are imperialists, racists, and criminals. INSIDE THE STATUE WARS delves into a fascinating, high stakes battle being waged over public memorials and statues. From Indigenous protestors tearing down a statue of Queen Victoria, to students threatening to walk out of schools named after these historical figures, to civic and business leaders spending millions to re-name streets, brands, and buildings, we are living through a momentous re-evaluation of our past. Is it a long overdue reckoning or an over-reaction? Are we rebalancing the narrative to reach a more inclusive future, or is this an activist approach to history in the age of cancel culture?
