The Brief

Starring Jesse Rath (Defiance, Being Human) and David Reale (Suits, Skins, Mean Girls), this scripted comedy series follows a quirky copywriter and an eccentric art director as they wade through the clichés of advertising culture, encumbered by their own strained relationship. Each 5-7 minute episode takes a look at a pivotal day in their 4-week internship at the agency, as they attempt to answer their creative brief. Cast: Jesse Rath (Defiance, Being Human), Michael Seater (Murdoch Mysteries, Bomb Girls, Life with Derek), David Reale (Suits, Skins, Mean Girls) and John Boylan (Being Erica, Land of the Lost). It’s like Mad Men’s younger cousin.

Alias Grace

Based on the award-winning novel by Margaret Atwood, Alias Grace tells the story of Grace Marks (Sarah Gadon), a young, poor Irish immigrant and domestic servant who – along with stable hand James McDermott (Kerr Logan) – finds herself accused and convicted of the infamous 1843 murders of her employer, wealthy farmer Thomas Kinnear (Paul Gross), and his housekeeper, Nancy Montgomery (Anna Paquin). Detention Adventure

Their investigation is interrupted when they are sent to Island School, a dilapidated camp meant for top academic students to unplug and explore new paths and interests among nature. However, the core four come to realize there is more to the island than just campfires and sing-a-longs, and it might just hold the answers they’re looking for. With the help of a charismatic new art school student, Dash, the team investigates what Harris’ painting could mean through different art forms, while forming bonds with their new campmates. Lady Ada's Secret Society

A live-action, modern coming-of-age comedy about a secret computer club operated by Ava, Tina, Rebelle and Frances at their hyper-traditional boarding school where computers, smartphones, and other modern necessities are banned. Sent there to be turned into 'proper young ladies', the girls rebel by executing clever and over-the-top pranks, using technology they either invent or hack while staying one step ahead of their headmistress who wields enormous power over their futures. Dr. Sophie Clarke has found a lost design for an invention by Nikola Tesla, a turn-of-the-century inventor. When student Harriet Goldring helps Dr. Clarke test the device, Tesla suddenly appears. Tesla, who has been lost in the multiverse trying to find his way home, has built up a huge debt to the agency that manages inter-dimensional travel. Harriet is recruited by the agency to help Nikola in a confusing and sketchy sales job between worlds to help him repay his debts and bring him home.
