The Jury: Death on the Staircase

In this first recreation of the thrilling THE JURY format, a jury of 12 ordinary citizens are presented with a mystifying death, and a defendant whose fate is now in their hands. Recreating a real case through the original court transcript, we get behind the scenes to explore the criminal process, and the human element involved in a jury of peers rendering a verdict. We watch how this cohort of twelve strangers interpret confounding evidence, judge the motives and expertise of witnesses and decode the cleverness of defence and prosecution tactics.
