All of the cubs arrive deeply traumatized and alone, with some cubs being so young that they are blind and helpless. But with the round-the-clock care provided by the Stearns, including bottle feeding at all hours, these baby bears gradually recover and even thrive. As they grow, they develop distinct personalities, and learn the skills they need to survive. And, in the fall, the group of healthy and confident cubs are ready to return to the wilderness, having grown up under the safe wing of CUB CAMP.
